IPST Among Hosts of Next Generation Manufacturing Event

The Next Generation Manufacturing Event, which took place October 18th, introduced guests to the next generation of manufacturing technologies. Presentations and tours were conducted to give attendees a first-hand view of the capabilities and technology available at Georgia Tech.

IPST was one of three facilities offering tours of its manufacturing laboratories. Professor Art Ragauskas and Assistant Professor Meisha Shofner gave intorductory presentations on the topics of biofuels and biomaterials respectively.

Along with refreshments were a graduate student poster session and the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum.
